1. Who we are
FestiPlayB (“Festivals of Bharat”) is a calm, open-ended play app about Hindu festivals for children aged 3–9 and their families. It is made and published by the FestiPlayB team (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy: support@festiplayb.com.
2. Information we collect
None. FestiPlayB does not ask for, collect or receive any personal information: no names, email addresses, phone numbers, photos, voice recordings, location, contacts, device identifiers or advertising IDs.
- No sign-up or account of any kind.
- No camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo-library access.
- No advertising and no advertising or analytics SDKs.
- No chat, social features or user-generated content shared with others.
- The app makes no network connections of its own; all festivals, stories, music and pictures are inside the app.
3. What stays on your device
To remember a few settings, the app saves small values in its own storage on your device only. They are never sent to us or anyone else, and they are removed when you delete the app:
- the story language you chose (English, हिंदी or తెలుగు);
- whether the “How to play” card is open or folded;
- whether your subscription is active and when it renews, so the app can open offline.
Read-aloud uses your device’s built-in speech voices or narration recorded inside the app; no text or audio leaves the device.
4. Subscriptions and payments
FestiPlayB is unlocked by an auto-renewing subscription (Annual or Monthly) with a 7-day free trial. Purchases, free trials, renewals, cancellations, refunds and Family Sharing are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your name, Apple ID, card number or billing details. Apple tells the app only whether a subscription is active, and the app checks this on your device. Apple’s handling of your information is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.
Every purchase, restore and link that leaves the app is behind a grown-ups check (a short maths question), so a child cannot buy or leave the app by accident.
5. Children’s privacy
FestiPlayB is designed for children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing to collect from children, and no parental consent is needed for data collection. We follow the requirements of Apple’s Kids Category, the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) including its rules for children, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act): no tracking, no behavioural monitoring and no targeted advertising of children.
6. Sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, share or disclose personal information, because we do not have any.
7. Our website
festiplayb.com is an information site. It has no sign-up, no ads and no tracking cookies. Our web host may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability for a short time; we do not use them to identify visitors. If you email us, we use your email only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed.
8. Your choices and rights
- Delete local settings: delete the app from your device.
- Manage or cancel the subscription: in the app’s Grown-ups area, or Settings › your name › Subscriptions.
- Questions or requests under COPPA, GDPR, the DPDP Act or any other law: email support@festiplayb.com; we reply within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
If FestiPlayB ever changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect. We will never start collecting personal information from children.
